Setting Up Notifications

Notification channels allow you to receive alerts through various platforms (e.g., email, Slack, Webhooks) and can be setup to trigger notifications based on specific events in your Workspace.

To setup a Notification Channel:

  1. Navigate to the Notification Channels section.
  2. Click on the Create Notification Channel button.
  3. Fill in the channel details:
    • Name: A descriptive name for the channel (e.g., “Slack Alerts”).
    • Type: The type of channel (e.g., Email, Slack, Webhook).
    • URL: The webhook URL for the channel (works with Slack and Discord).
    • Events: The specific events you want to trigger notifications (e.g., “Build Failed”, “Deployment Succeeded”).
  4. Click Create

Once your Notification Channel is set up, you’ll start receiving alerts for the events you’ve configured.

You can manage your Notification Channels at any time by returning to the Notification Channels section. Here, you can toggle, edit or delete existing channels as needed.

Each channel maintains a history of notifications that have been sent. You can view this history by clicking the eye icon next to each channel.
